The movie has no words, but the scenes are accompanied by Classical music. It is 19 minutes long, and fun to watch, especially from a historical chess perspective!

"CHESS FEVER" (WITH FOOTAGE FROM THE MOSCOW, 1925 TOURNAMENT!)
"Chess Fever," a 1925 "silent" film, was directed by Vsevolod Pudovkin. It features actual footage from the very strong Moscow, 1925 tournament! You can see players like Jose Raoul Capablanca, Richard Reti, Frank Marshall, Carlos Torre, etc. actually playing at the board! (Chess was so much different back then...).
