Amir is a first-grade student at Horace Mann School. He began chess last year in Kindergarten and attends all of Horace Mann's chess classes, and he is a frequent attendee at NYChessKids camps and Workshops, and he loves to have fun as the teachers can tell you! He is very engaged during class and does his best to get to know the other students and instructors better.His parents support chess very much, and he has improved rapidly. Amir's rating is now 745, after going 4-0 in the Primary Section at the October 29 P.S. 116 tournament. He will surely be an important cog for the Horace Mann chess team for years to come.
