The 2007 edition of the annual Corus "supertournament," held in Wijk aan Zee in the Netherlands has a superstar field, including World Champion Vladimir Kramnik, Veselin Topalov, Viswanathan Anand, Alexei Shirov, Ruslan Ponomariov, Peter Svidler, Levon Aronian, Magnus Carlsen, Alexander Motylev, David Navara, Loek van Wely, Sergei Tiviakov, and the current tournament leader--with an incredible 5 out of 6!--Teimour Radjabov. The Azeri teen is on a scorching pace, and right now is trying to win his first supertournament.The tournament has 14 players in all, and there will be 13 rounds of play--each player will face all the other players in the table. Several of the world's Top 10 are playing.
The tournament concludes on Sunday, January 28.
