3-WAY TIE WITH 2 ROUNDS TO GO IN TAL MEMORIAL, GAZZA VISITS

Ruslan Ponomariov (Ukraine), Peter Leko (Hungary), and Levon Aronian (Armenia), lead the Tal Memorial supertournament being held in Moscow. Each member of the trio has 4.5 out of 7, and two rounds remain.

Garry Kasparov, the 13th World Champion, visited the tournament because, as it turns out, it is being held right near his home! He offered impromptu game commentary and greeted the players and organizers.
