Camille is a second-grade student at P.S. 116. Always in a cheerful mood with a smile that lights up a room, Camille has taken a liking to chess since first grade and has definitely improved her game with dedication and much hard work.
This year Camille has joined the Advanced Chess Class taught by Anatoly Trubman and Andre Harding. She has an excellent attention span and focuses during the lessons very well. Last year Camille played in the State Championships, and in December she will join her team in going to the National Scholastic K-12 Grade Championships.
Camille loves the game and we expect her to be involved in chess for a long time to come!
