TEIMOUR RADJABOV WINS CAP D'ADGE RAPID

19-year old Teimour Radjabov of Azerbaijan, picked by many to be a future World Champion, defeated 16-year old Sergey Karjakin of Ukraine (the youngest player to ever become a GM, at 12) in the finals of the Cap D'Adge rapid tournament.

This event was filled with most of the top young superstars in chess today, and some veterans. Former World Champion Anatoly Karpov was knocked out early on, losing three times(!) to Zhao Xue, the 12-year old female from China who is destined to be a super-grandmaster soon. The field also included 2700+ Etienne Bacrot (when he was 14, he became the youngest GM ever at that time), as well as Koneru Humpy, Pentala Harikrishna, Andrei Volokitin, Magnus Carlsen, and Laurent Fressinet.
This event powerfully displays the future talent of the chess world. Some of the names here will be future World Champions.
