Fabiano Caruana is one of the world's youngest Grand Masters. He was born here in New York City and started playing chess in New York City. One of his First teachers was Gary Ryan which is a currently chess teacher for NyChess Kids. Teenage Grand Master Fabiano Caruana is Italian Champion. In the Italian Championship he played and recivied 9.5/11 points. Fabiano's 2729 performance rating in Martina Franca was not his first 2700-plus effort. He also achieved a 2715 performance rating in the strong Vlissingen, in southern Netherlands this past August. Caruana's family left the United States three years ago and last Spring moved to Budapest, Hungary, where Fabiano one his third Grand Master Norm in July.
